Volunteers

At Thrive Learning Center (TLC), our volunteers are invaluable partners in empowering students with specific learning disabilities and social and emotional challenges to thrive. Your dedication directly supports individualized learning, fosters a nurturing environment, and helps our students build the skills and confidence they need to succeed. By sharing your time and talents, you become an essential part of their journey towards achieving their full potential and shaping a brighter future.

Sponsor an Activity

There is a broad range of activities you can provide for our children to help create memorable experiences. Examples include sponsoring a guest speaker or a hands-on workshop related to their studies, supporting after-school clubs such as robotics, drama, or debate. You could also help fund field trips that extend classroom learning or contribute to special events that build school spirit. Share your ideas for an activity, whether during the school day, after hours, or even during school breaks, and we'll work together to make it an unforgettable experience for our students.

Independent Living Skills

Be a vital part of our students' journey towards independence! Thrive Learning Center’s Independent living program provides targeted instruction in essential life skills for our students. We invite you to volunteer your time and knowledge in areas like financial literacy, health and well-being, crafting effective resumes, mastering interview skills, exploring career paths, building self-confidence, and culinary skills. Your support in these practical areas will have a lasting impact on their future success and autonomy.

Special Events

Join the fun and support a great cause! Our special events provide engaging opportunities to contribute to the success of our programs. We're looking for dedicated volunteers to assist with various roles, including registration, event setup, parking, and more. You can also get involved by writing personalized notes to attendees, making friendly reminder calls, and representing our school at community events. We need enthusiastic volunteers for our impactful drives throughout the year: our back-to-school supply drive, our Thanksgiving can food drive, and our Christmas toy drive. You can even host your own small event to benefit our school! Volunteer with us and be part of a community dedicated to making a difference.
